Together, we can do this!

Two of the volunteer teachers on session

Greetings to you my friends.

There comes a time when we have to stand for each other. I would like to share with you some sad news hoping that you will find it in your heart to assist in whichever way you can. My students at the community school that I volunteer at in Kibera, Adventure Pride Center have been evicted from the school because of non-payment of rental arrears which stand at Ksh. 20,000.

This eventuality comes just 2 weeks before the final exams and I feel really sad for the students. I’m not in a position to raise this entire amount at such a short notice, but with my friends, this is how I am looking at it. If 20 of us raised Ik each, we will have saved these students from so much anxiety. If 40 of us raised Ksh 500 we will raise the same amount, and if 80 of us raised Kshs. 250 a person, we can make it. If 200 of us raised Ksh. 100 then we will have sent the students back to school.

My appeal to you, please find it in your heart to help these students. Jointly let’s take them back to school before the end of this week. Kindly share this post with as many people as you can. Kindly do get in touch with me for the head teachers contacts and make your payment directly to him. Thank you in advance. Remember, Haba na Haba Hujaza Kibaba! Thank you and God bless you all!

It always seems impossible until it is done!
